Project Overview
Located in Sevenoaks, Kent, this residential property required a thermal upgrade and a new long term waterproofing solution. Proteus Waterproofing® was asked to provide insulation and waterproofing products to best protect the building.
Key Challenges & Solutions
• Low Upstands: Due to existing skylights which were set to remain in place, the design team at Proteus Waterproofing® planned an insulation scheme with reduced depths of Pro-Therm PIR to accommodate the surrounding upstand heights.
• Multiple Roof Areas: A range of solutions were required to accommodate the requirements of different roof areas. Pro-BW plus was used as an overlay system on the balcony area whilst Proteus Pro-Felt® Ultima Plus with Proteus Pro-Therm insulation was used on the warm roof areas of the building.
Conclusion
Regular site visits were made by the Technical team at Proteus Waterproofing® to ensure a high standard of installation at each stage of the project. On completion a guarantee was put in place on the completed works to provide security and support.
