Roof refurbishment – Conquest Hospital, East Sussex

Located high up looking over St. Leonards-On-Sea, on the outskirts of Hastings, the pitched tiled roofs facing the sea have experienced a lot of battering from the weather. The age and weather have rotted the sarking felt beneath the tiles, allowing water ingress in various areas.

Product brief:

The client needed to find a cost-effective solution removing the need to strip the roofs and having to close wards beneath. Proteus Waterproofing’s cold applied, low odour waterproofing system Proteus Pro-System®Plus was chosen.
